Palm Beach Orthopaedic Institution is seeking a motivated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our team in our Wellington location, specializing in the evaluation and treatment of orthopedic and sports-related injuries. The ideal candidate is passionate about helping active individuals to return to optimal function, prevent future injuries, and enhance performance.

Requirements:
  • Perform comprehensive evaluations of patients with orthopedic and sports-related conditions, including post-surgical cases, acute injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal disorders 
  • Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans focused on strength, mobility, neuromuscular control, and functional performance 
  • Utilize a wide range of manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercise/activity, strengthening and performance training strategies to restore function and reduce pain 
  • Design and progress return-to-sport programs tailored to each patient’s goals and sport-specific demands 
  • Educate patients on injury prevention, biomechanics, and performance optimization 
  • Collaborate with the PBOI Physicians to ensure coordinated care for patients
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with regulatory and organizational standards 
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to achieve optimal outcomes

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program 
  • Current state licensure (or eligibility) to practice as a Physical Therapist 
  • Experience or strong interest in orthopedics and sports rehabilitation 
  • Knowledge of current evidence-based practices in musculoskeletal care 
  • Strong manual therapy and clinical reasoning skills 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
