Job description

At PlayOn, we are investing in smarter, more data-driven marketing operations that enable our teams to move faster, make better decisions, and leverage AI to scale high-impact work. We are looking for a Marketing Operations Manager who is excited by the intersection of marketing technology, analytics, automation, and artificial intelligence.
In this role, you'll own the operational infrastructure that powers PlayOn's B2B demand generation engine. You'll partner across Marketing, Sales, Revenue Operations, Product, and Analytics to optimize lead management, campaign execution, reporting, and AI-enabled processes that drive pipeline growth and revenue.
You are a strategic and analytical operator who enjoys solving complex problems, improving processes, and turning data into actionable insights. You are comfortable working in a fast-changing technology environment and are excited to help shape how Playon uses AI across marketing.
The Outcomes You'll Deliver
  • Build scalable B2B marketing operations that improve campaign execution, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency.
  • Develop data-driven insights that enable marketing leadership to optimize pipeline generation, campaign performance, and make faster business decisions.
  • Lead the adoption of AI-powered workflows and automation that increase team productivity while improving the quality and consistency of marketing execution.

In this role, you can expect to
  • Optimize the B2B marketing technology ecosystem, including CRM integrations, marketing automation platforms, analytics tools, and AI applications.
  • Build dashboards and reporting that provide visibility into pipeline generation, campaign performance, customer engagement, and marketing ROI, and translate findings into recommendations that improve effectiveness and resource allocation.
  • Partner with Marketing, Sales, Revenue Operations, and Analytics to establish data quality standards, measurement frameworks, and governance practices that ensure reliable information across the revenue funnel.
  • Design, document, and improve marketing processes that increase operational efficiency and scalability.
  • Evaluate, implement, and optimize AI tools that improve campaign execution, lead management, reporting, and internal workflows.
  • Identify opportunities to automate repetitive marketing tasks while maintaining governance and quality standards.
  • Support B2B demand Generation programs by managing workflows, lead routing, attribution, and operational readiness.
  • Stay current on emerging AI technologies and marketing operations trends, recommending new capabilities that drive business value.

To thrive in this role, you have
  • 5+ years of experience in B2B Marketing Operations, Revenue Operations, Marketing Analytics, or a similar role.
  • Experience supporting lead lifecycle management, marketing attribution, campaign operations, and pipeline reporting.
  • Strong analytical skills, including experience using BI and reporting tools such as Looker, Tableau, or Power BI to build dashboards and translate complex data into business recommendations.
  • Experience administering or working extensively with marketing automation platforms and CRM systems such as HubSpot, Salesforce, Marketo, Pardot, or similar.
  • Demonstrated success improving business processes through automation and technology.
  • Experience evaluating and implementing AI tools within marketing or business operations.
  • Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Curiosity about emerging AI technologies and a continuous improvement mindset.

How You Play
  • Ownership over Participation- You take responsibility for achieving holistic outcomes, prioritize key objectives, and adapt quickly when situations require a different approach. You follow through even against the toughest challenges.
  • Team over Stars- You are a bridge builder, establishing processes and relationships with teams outside your own. You work to rally around common goals, find win-win solutions, compromise when necessary, and help others succeed.
  • Growth over Comfort- You are driven by a desire to grow and actively seek opportunities to expand your comfort zone, skills, and confidence. You embrace new challenges with curiosity, accepting discomfort and failure as opportunities to learn.
  • Fairness over Popularity- You approach decisions with a scientist's mindset, challenging your assumptions and remaining objective. You consider long-term impact rather than relying on short-term gains, proactively seek others' perspectives, and manage emotions in decision-making
