retailcloud is an omnichannel commerce platform that provides sports and entertainment merchants the ability to easily manage their orders, inventory, customers, and other related tasks while providing them with actional analytics to improve operational efficiencies. We are the proud partner of over 30 professional sports teams and work closely to utilize our 30+ homegrown application and range of out of the box integrations to build a tailored solution to meet the customers needs.
Position Overview:
retailcloud is seeking a Data Anyltics Intern to work with large and complex datasets and turn them into clear insights and visualizations. We are looking to utilize our data and technology to transform a retailers data into actionable analytics for the retailer. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years experience in a prior data analytics role. This role will require to create and improve our analytics dashboards to support our retailers operations.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Demonstrated ability to work with large and complex datasets.
โ€ข Strong written and verbal communication skills to explain findings to decision-makers who are not business analysts or data analysis experts.
โ€ข Demonstrated ability to independently determine and apply the most appropriate mathematical and statistical techniques to interpret data into meaningful insights and conclusions.
โ€ข Tech-savvy, particularly when it comes to data mining and cleansing.
โ€ข High attention to detail as it relates to data integrity and organization.
โ€ข Willingness to take on multiple departmental responsibilities and multitask.
โ€ข Ability to organize and create catalogs for large streams of data collected.
โ€ข Project organization and management.
Qualifications and Experience
โ€ข Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience preferred.
โ€ข 1-3 years experience in a data analytics/science role, ideally from a SaaS/ERP/API company
โ€ข Ideally worked in a start-up environment
โ€ข Highly organized
Compensation:
Base salary of $60,000-$70,000 with PTO and full medical benefits
