Job description

Founding Coach & Growth Leader
Amazing Athletes Soccer Stars
Colorado Springs, CO
Help Build Something from the Ground Up
We're looking for a high-energy leader who wants more than just another coaching job.
Amazing Athletes and Soccer Stars are growing rapidly in Colorado Springs, and we're looking for someone who can help build the business from the ground up.
This is a unique opportunity to combine coaching, sales, and leadership into one role with significant opportunity for growth. You'll spend part of your week coaching fun, high-energy classes for young children and the rest building relationships with schools and helping grow the business.
If you're looking for a job where you simply show up and coach, this probably isn't the right fit.
If you're excited by the challenge of building something meaningful and making a lasting impact on children and families, we'd love to meet you.
What You'll Do
Coach Incredible Classes
  • Lead energetic preschool and elementary sports classes for children ages 1-10 (primarily ages 2-6).
  • Deliver an exceptional experience every class.
  • Build relationships with parents, teachers, and school staff.
  • Become the face of our programs in the community.
Grow the Business
  • Contact and visit preschools, childcare centers, and elementary schools throughout Colorado Springs.
  • Introduce our programs to school directors/principals.
  • Schedule and conduct free demo classes.
  • Build long-term relationships with schools.
  • Help improve our sales process and marketing materials.
Help Build the Team
As the business grows, you'll also help recruit, train, and mentor additional coaches.
Requirements
What We're Looking For
You should be someone who:
  • Loves working with young children.
  • Is confident walking into a school and introducing yourself.
  • Enjoys meeting new people and building relationships.
  • Has a positive, outgoing personality.
  • Can comfortably lead a class of 10-15 preschoolers on your own.
  • Is organized, dependable, and self-motivated.
  • Takes initiative instead of waiting to be told what to do.
  • Wants to grow into a leadership role as the business grows.
Requirements
Required
  • Experience independently leading groups of preschool-aged children.
  • Comfortable leading classes alone from your first week.
  • Comfortable visiting schools and speaking with directors independently during your first week.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to pass a background check.

Preferred
  • Sales, business development, or relationship-building experience.
  • Early Childhood Education experience.
  • Coaching or sports instruction experience.
  • Bachelor's degree (preferred, not required).
What Success Looks Like
During your first 90 days, you'll work toward:
  • Independently coaching all assigned weekly classes in first 2 weeks.
  • Building relationships with schools across Colorado Springs.
  • Booking and leading demo classes.
  • Helping grow the business MoM and YoY.
  • Becoming a trusted leader within the organization.
Important
This is a startup-style opportunity. Not a full-time role, initially.
We're looking for someone who is excited to help build the business-not someone looking for a role with every process already established.
The right person will be energetic, confident, comfortable taking initiative, and ready to start IMMEDIATELY AND WITH LIMITED SUPERVISION.
This role requires equal comfort leading energetic preschool classes and developing new business through in-person school outreach. Applicants who are only interested in coaching or only interested in sales are unlikely to be successful in this position.
Benefits
Compensation
  • $22/hour for all coaching activities.
  • Opportunity to earn a 30% Operating Partner Performance Share based on business performance as responsibilities grow.
  • Significant leadership and advancement opportunities.
  • As the business grows, more benefits and bonus opportunities will be made available.
