Senior Design Architect

Troy OR Grand Rapids, MI

Direct Hire/ Permanent Placement

Salary D.O.E., Full benefits, Hybrid/ flex sched, Bonus, Profit Sharing, 34 days PTO (vaca, sick, holidays)

THE CLIENT

This particular client is a mid-sized A&E Firm (200 ppl) who work on a wide variety of projects, including: Mission Critical/ Data Centers, Healthcare, Science & Tech, Education, Sports stadiums, , Hi-rise/ multi-unit residential, mixed-use, etc.

ROLE/ RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design competence and leadership

• Business development

• Provide the full range of architectural services

• Create and develop planning and design concepts

• Prepare renderings / presentation drawings and lead presentations both internally and externally

• Present design solutions to client representatives and/or design review committees

• Mentor and train junior and intermediate staff

• Maintain and develop relationships with past, current and new clients

REQUIRED/ HIGHLY PREFERRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• BS degree in Architecture or similar

• 8+ years of experience

• Architectural Registration is required

• LEED AP or LEED BD+C accreditation is preferred

• Revit, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Lumion

• Highly preferred project experience with Healthcare, Higher Education, K-12, or Sports Arenas/ Complexes
