Salary: Up to $22 DOE

Elevate Sporting goods is a local family owned and operated sporting goods store. We buy, sell, consign and trade a variety of new and used sporting goods with a strong focus on our hockey and our skating community. As a family owned sporting goods retailer we really want to give the best customer experience we can at all times. We want our entire team to be ready and willing to giving exceptional customer service to all customers and potential customers. We keep a team atmosphere and work together to ensure that services given stay at a very high standard from sharpening skates to fitting gear.


RESPONSIBILITIES would include but not be limited to:

  • Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction by teaming up with co-workers to provide an excellent sales & service experience
  • Being knowledgeable on all products offered and willing/able to learn product knowledge continually.
  • Fitting and selling customers proper equipment and sporting goods
  • Being personally accountable for operational processes and procedures.
  • Maintaining personal and shop productivity goals on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
  • Builds professional relationships with every customer and potential customer
  • Selling, by asking open-ended questions that will help assess customers needs.
  • Ability to learn, maintain and share expertise of products, industry and trends.
  • Contributes to a positive, productive and passionate work environment every shift.
  • Has a can do attitude.
  • Needs to be able to work evenings and weekends.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • 1-3 years of retail experience preferred.
  • Enthusiastic and passionate about people, sports and sporting goods.
  • Able to unconditionally deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
  • Disciplined and focused on results and operational excellence
  • Must be proactive and Initiate completion of tasks or activities without necessary supervision
  • Basic computer skills necessary.
