Job description

JR286 is seeking a Director of Sales Operations for North America to join our team in Torrance, CA.  Responsible for leading 3 critical functions and teams within NA Sales; Sales Operations, B2B and Customer Service.  Owns creating and driving a strategically focused business plan with people, process and execution across all 3 functions.  Drives collaboration at the leadership level with other key functions in the company; NA Sales, Global Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Product, Marketing, IT, Finance & HR, and helps facilitate collaboration throughout the teams.  Active people manager, coaching and developing our next generation of leaders and motivating the entire NA Sales Operations Team.  Plays a critical role on the NA Sales Leadership Team, collaborating with Sales Directors to drive revenue and profitability for JR286.

What You’ll Do:

  • LEAD THE TEAM. SALES OPERATIONS, B2B & CUSTOMER SERVICE TEAM
    • Lead, Coach, Drive & Inspire the entire Sales Operations Org. through annual KPI Goals, Reviews, Weekly, Monthly touch base and daily support.
    • Oversee & responsible for Functional Priorities of Meeting Management (GTM, Exec), Sales Tools, NA Sales Calendar management, all Reporting & Analytics, Elastic/B2B platform, EDI/Direct to Consumer connectivity and World Class Customer Service.
    • Establish Strategic Business Plans for each function (Sales Operations, B2B & Customer Service) establish strategic priorities, drivers and enablers each year through Strategic Planning Process.
    • Execute the Strategic Business Plans monthly, seasonally, by aligning resources and work flow to the priorities, checking in monthly and quarterly against the Plans.
    • Evolve the Strategic Business Plans annually, to stay aligned to the Macro Growth, Revenue and profitability for JR286.
  • LEAD THE BUSINESS. CROSS FUNCTIONAL COLLABORATION
    • Play integral leadership role on the NASLT Team, working with VP of Sales and the Sales Directors to stay aligned on Strategic Priorities and driving the day to day business model.
    • Lead & Coordinate Seasonal Game Plan key dates and gates, providing intelligence in advance of meetings, prep sessions. Support and service the NA Sales organization, driving efficiency, solving problems, timely response to serve NA Partners at the highest level.
    • Establish & Own critical Cross Functional relationships with: Global Demand Planning, Operations, including Supply planning and Distribution Center. Finance, Product leadership for improved communication and alignment, and with IT for technical needs to support the business (Elastic, DOMO, EDI, VDC, Oracle enhancements). Represent NA Sales in all key weekly/monthly meetings.
    • Own & facilitate daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly Revenue Forecast tracking and execution for ELT and broader teams to stay connected to the business plans throughout the year.
    • Act as a Trusted leader within JR286, providing business and operations insights, informed decision making, and resource to the ELT. Focus on key meetings of MBR, QBR, S&OP.
  • PROCESS MANAGEMENT & IMPROVEMENT
    • Responsible for all NA Sales Processes across Sales Operations, B2B and Customer Service. Consistently monitor and evolve for process improvement to support business growth.
    • Lead Cross Functional Process management with peer leaders for Product, Demand Planning, Operations, DC, Finance. Ensuring processes are effective and teams are following the processes.
    • Co-Own the monthly S&OP Meeting with Global Operations. Drive communication, decision making and action/execution cross functionally.

What to Bring:

  • Minimum education: Bachelor’s Degree
  • 5-8 years of business and people management experience.
  • 8-15 years of Sales and/or Operations experience, focused on people, process and execution.
  • Intelligent, high integrity, high energy, motivated, proactive, career oriented individual with a strong work ethic that will manage the brand within a competitive market place.
  • Ability to clearly articulate Brand Vision and lead Strategic Account Partnership alignment.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Comprehensive understanding of retail trade channels (retail acumen, competitive landscape, trends, business models etc.)
  • Exceptional personal, professional selling skills & advanced computer skills. (Excel, Power Point, Adobe Illustrator a plus)
