Position Information
Position Title Video Production Assistant Department Athletics Appointment Term Academic Year (August - May) FLSA Non-Exempt Job Summary
The Video Production Assistant will assist with the production of MIAA Network Broadcasts for all home Griffon Athletics events. Additional opportunities for social media, and creative content work are also available upon discussion.
Essential Duties
  • Shooting video of live home athletic events, including Griffon football, volleyball, soccer, men's and women's basketball, baseball, softball, and lacrosse
  • Assisting with live graphic input for MIAA Network broadcasts
  • Content creation and social media management
  • Operating instant replay software
  • Set-up and breakdown of equipment on game day
Required Qualifications
  • MoWest Student
  • Degree Seeking
  • At least an overall 2.0 GPA
  • Enrolled at least part-time
  • General knowledge of sports
Preferred Qualifications
  • Media experience
  • Camera operation

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Time management
  • Flexible schedule and availability
  • Ability to learn new skills
  • Work in a fast paced environment
  • Basic knowledge of camera operation is preferred but not required.
Physical Demands Light Work: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. Additional Demands Location where duties are to be performed
