Job Description:

The Hydraulic Bartender is responsible for serving beverages and food to guests. Making cocktails, pouring wine, and opening bottled beverages while offering expertise with suggested pairings and alcohol flavor profiles. Showing a level of service that is exceptional, professional, and flawless.


The starting pay rate for this position is $11/hour + Tips


Essential Job Functions:

  • Setting up the bar and bar equipment
  • Answer guest questions about beverage items
  • Suggest beverage choices for guests
  • Ensure alcoholic beverages are consumed responsibly in accordance with company and state laws
  • Consistently enforce liquor laws in accordance with state and federal guidelines
  • Maintain constant event inventory to ensure beverage supply to guests
  • Maintain professionalism at all cost
  • Collect payment from guests for beverages
  • Maintain appearance standards
  • Greet guests that are being serviced at the bar and dining room
  • Maintain portion control
  • Assist with clearing table and or bar during and after meal service for empty beverage containers/glasses
  • Clean service space including bar top. Behind the bar, tabletop, floors, and other exposed surfaces when necessary. Keeping all bar equipment in clean operational order
  • Carry bus trays to the kitchen for washing and take out trash
  • Maintain station cleanliness to maintain food safety standards
  • All other duties as assigned in or out of your direct department

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to read, speak, and understand the English language
  • Must have dependable transportation to and from work
  • At least six months experience working in high volume bartending
  • Must display a positive attitude, eagerness to learn and professional image in compliance with Spooky Nook Sports guidelines
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Capability to multi-task and manage multiple duties at once
  • A positive and friendly attitude towards guest, customers, and fellow employees
  • Must be able to communicate and follow directions both written and verbally
