Responsibilities

  • Owns and governs Cross-SGM (Category 2) sponsorships, including goals-setting, strategic selection, evaluation, prioritization, stakeholder management, and activation roadmaps.
  • Collaborates with US Brand Sponsorships (Category 1 owners) on integrating SGM priorities into marquee brand partnerships, ensuring cohesive activations.
  • Advises and guides Portfolio Market Leader (Category 3 owners) on single-SGM sponsorships alignment with enterprise standards, brand guidelines, messaging, and measurement expectations.
  • Advises the CMO, Deputy CMO, Portfolio Market Leader, and SGM Leaders on sponsorship value, market relevance, opportunity selection, and long-term partnership strategy. Identifies where Deloitte should convene, lead, partner, or innovate to strengthen the firm's market position.
  • Leads Cross-SGM sponsorships governance, establishing clarity in roles, decision rights, operating norms, and collaboration models across teams.
  • Drives portfolio-level discipline, including budget frameworks, prioritization guidance, KPI expectations, and measurement of Cross-SGM sponsorship investments.
  • Builds Cross-SGM convening platforms, such as the Fortune CXO dinner series, film festival partnerships, leadership convenings, and SGM-sponsored activations at national tentpole moments.
  • Delivers measurable business value, strengthening brand perception, unlocking client relationships, supporting account teams, and amplifying Deloitte's leadership across growth markets.

Successful candidate will possess

  • Executive presence with the ability to engage and advise senior leaders, including the CMO, Deputy CMO, Portfolio Marketing Leader, and SGM leadership.
  • Ability to build trust and influence across a diverse, highly matrixed stakeholder environment.
  • Strong strategic judgment in evaluating opportunities, setting priorities, and making informed tradeoffs across sponsorship investments.

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in Marketing with a focus on Marketing strategy and planning
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or related discipline
  • Prior experience working on a virtual team within a highly matrixed organization, preferably for a global corporation or professional services firm
  • Microsoft Office Suite skills (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); familiarity with integrating various technologies to support marketing efforts
  • Understanding of Agile methodology and experience in Workfront are preferred
  • Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
