Job Description: MKTG S+E is a global agency that harnesses the power of sports and entertainment for brands. We leverage deep INSIGHTS and our network of seasoned & creative team members to create IMPACT between properties, fans & brands. MKTG S+E is a part of the broader dentsu Sports International network. MKTG S+E is seeking a strategic and client-focused Director, Sponsorship Consulting to help lead one of the agency's largest and most dynamic sponsorship portfolios. Reporting to the VP, Sponsorship Consulting, this position will be based in MKTG's Cincinnati, Ohio office. This individual will play a key leadership role managing integrated sponsorship programs across women's sports, with an emphasis on the WNBA, while also supporting NFL-related initiatives. The Director will serve as a trusted advisor to clients, oversee day-to-day account leadership, and guide activation strategy, planning, and rightsholder management across a portfolio of premier sports partnerships.

Responsibilities

Lead sponsorship strategy, activation planning, and partnership management for major client relationships across women's sports and NFL properties. Serve as the primary day-to-day client lead and strategic advisor. Guide annual planning efforts, evaluations, and optimization strategies. Manage relationships with leagues, teams, rightsholders, talent representatives, and agency partners. Lead integrated activation concepts across experiential, content, social, talent, hospitality, and promotional initiatives. Lead and mentor account teams and support employee development. Contribute to new business efforts and agency growth initiatives.

Qualifications

6+ years of sponsorship consulting, partnership marketing, sports marketing, or related experience. 2+ years of experience in women's sports, preferably WNBA. NFL sponsorship experience preferred. Experience managing high-profile sponsorship programs. Agency experience is strongly preferred. People leadership and client management experience. Bachelor's degree in a related field.

Skills & Competencies

Sponsorship strategy and partnership marketing. Client relationship management. Team leadership and development. Strategic planning and problem solving. Project and budget management.

Work Environment

Travel is expected for client meetings, sponsorship activations, league events, team meetings, and planning sessions as needed.

Additional Information

The annual salary range for this position is $82,500-$103,000. Placement within the salary range is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law. Additionally, this position is eligible for discretionary incentive compensation.
