Come join our Rocket Ship and be part of Compass Datacenter's mission to make life better by providing the world's technology leaders with a secure place to plug-in wherever they grow. We provide custom, move-in ready data centers, from edge deployments to core facilities serving hyperscale, cloud and enterprise customers. At Compass we have our sights set on leaving a legacy imprint on the data center industry. By putting Culture first, we can show this not only produces results, but more importantly, can change lives.

Compass is recruiting for an Executive Assistant to provide comprehensive support to our leadership team out of our Dallas office. This is a role for a highly organized, proactive professional who takes pride in keeping the details running smoothly so our executives can focus on what matters most.

You'll be the connective tissue of the executive team โ€” managing calendars, coordinating travel and events, preparing polished documents, and serving as a trusted point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Calendar Management: Coordinate and manage executive calendars, including scheduling appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements.
  • Communication Handling: Serve as a primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, responding to inquiries and drafting communications on behalf of the executive team.
  • Meeting and Event Coordination: Organize and prepare meeting materials, capture minutes, and follow up on action items. Coordinate details for team meetings, summits, and events โ€” including travel, agenda creation, calendaring, and catering.
  • Travel Arrangements: Arrange and coordinate travel itineraries, accommodations, and logistics for executive team members and for candidates traveling in for interviews.
  • Document Preparation: Draft, edit, and proofread documents, presentations, and reports, ensuring accuracy in all materials produced for the executive team.
  • Expense Management: Track, reconcile, and submit executive team expense reports accurately and on time.
  • Confidentiality: Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and a high level of professionalism.
  • Project Support: Provide administrative support for special projects and initiatives led by the executive team.
  • Team Support: Support Dallas office events and activities and share in weekly Dallas office administrative tasks (e.g., coffee and popcorn machine setup, and other Dallas-based events).

Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience as an executive assistant or in a similar administrative support role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities seamlessly.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.

Requirements:

  • Proactive and able to anticipate needs before they arise.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain composure under pressure.
  • Discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative, humble approach โ€” a natural fit for Compass's culture of stewardship and continuous improvement.
