Job description

Build a safer world

TRM Labs is the intelligence platform for public safety and national security. We help organizations detect and disrupt criminal networks that exploit emerging technologies, including cryptocurrency and AI.

Our platform combines proprietary intelligence, AI-native investigations software, and disruption-network infrastructure built for environments where accuracy, auditability, and security matter. TRM is trusted by more than 600 government agencies and financial institutions across 75 countries to combat fraud, scams, cybercrime, child exploitation, money laundering, and sanctions evasion.

The Role

TRM Labs is looking for a highly organized, hands-on Marketing Events Specialist to manage the execution of regional Tier 2 and Tier 3 events.

You will take ownership of assigned events after the initial sponsorship or program handoff and manage them through completion. Your work will include building execution plans, coordinating vendors, managing deadlines, preparing internal teams, supporting event promotion, overseeing onsite readiness, and completing post-event reporting.

You will report to the regional Events Lead and partner closely with Regional Marketing, Sales, Design, event organizers, and external vendors.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys making events happen, stays calm while managing several moving pieces, and takes pride in getting every detail right.

**Please note:

  • This is an immediate project need. Candidates should be available to interview promptly and begin onboarding within a few weeks if selected.
  • The project is approved for an initial six-month contract, with the possibility of extension.
  • The expected workload is 20–30 hours per week. Hours may fluctuate during busier event periods, and additional hours may occasionally be available based on business needs and candidate availability.

What you’ll do:

Own event execution

  • Manage assigned events from initial handoff through post-event wrap-up.
  • Turn sponsorship details into clear execution plans, timelines, deliverables, and deadlines.
  • Keep multiple event workstreams organized and moving forward at the same time.
  • Coordinate directly with event organizers, venues, production partners, and regional vendors.
  • Identify risks or blockers early and communicate clearly when support or decisions are needed.

Manage logistics and onsite readiness

  • Coordinate booth and sponsorship requirements, including AV, internet, electricity, furniture, signage, carpeting, and equipment.
  • Manage shipping timelines for swag, collateral, booth materials, and other event assets.
  • Support venue sourcing and logistics for happy hours, meetups, networking events, and other side events.
  • Ensure Sales and field teams have the materials, information, and support they need to be successful onsite.
  • Help coordinate day-of logistics and resolve execution issues quickly.

Support event marketing and communications

  • Coordinate invitations, registration pages, website listings, social content, and internal event communications.
  • Create and manage registration pages using tools such as Splash and Luma.
  • Brief the Design team on invitations, social cards, signage, booth graphics, and other event assets.
  • Track creative requests and ensure materials are completed on time.
  • Support lightweight activations that increase attendee engagement and booth traffic.

Keep teams informed and organized

  • Create clear “Know Before You Go” materials covering agendas, logistics, responsibilities, and onsite expectations.
  • Manage calendar holds, Slack channels, internal updates, and event-related communications.
  • Maintain accurate event trackers in Notion and other internal systems.
  • Clearly communicate progress, ownership, deadlines, and blockers to regional stakeholders.

Track spend and event outcomes

  • Maintain organized records for event spend, contracts, invoices, procurement, and vendor documentation.
  • Coordinate swag sourcing and other event purchases with attention to budget and brand alignment.
  • Complete post-event reporting and document results, follow-up items, and lessons learned.

What we’re looking for

  • Experience executing B2B conferences, trade shows, sponsorships, field events, meetups, or similar programs.
  • Ability to independently manage an event from handoff through completion.
  • Experience coordinating vendors, production timelines, shipments, booth requirements, and sponsorship deliverables.
  • Strong project-management skills and comfort managing multiple overlapping deadlines.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, responsiveness, and follow-through.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while raising risks and blockers at the right time.
  • Experience collaborating with Sales, Marketing, Design, and external partners.
  • Comfort supporting basic event marketing, registration, and promotional communications.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Notion, Slack, Splash, Luma, or similar platforms.
  • Availability for regional travel and occasional evening or weekend events.
  • Experience in B2B technology is helpful, but direct fintech, cryptocurrency, or cybersecurity experience is not required.

What success looks like

In this role, you will help TRM consistently deliver polished, well-organized regional events without missed deadlines or last-minute surprises.

You will make it easier for our regional Events Leads to focus on larger strategic programs by independently managing a high volume of smaller events. Internal teams will know what they need to do, vendors will have clear direction, and every event will be prepared to represent TRM professionally.
