GET TO KNOW YOUR ROLE AS A SEASONAL LIFEGUARD

Your day as a Seasonal Lifeguard at Austin Country Club will start with ensuring the safety and well-being of all poolside guests. You'll stay on alert, watching over swimmers to keep everyone safe and ensuring the pool area is free of hazards. When emergencies arise, you'll respond quickly and confidently, performing rescues, administering CPR, or providing first aid.

But it's not all about safety-you'll also help maintain a clean and inviting atmosphere by keeping the pool area spotless and assisting members with any questions or pool-related needs. Whether you're chatting with members, keeping an eye out for any potential dangers, or helping maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, every moment counts in delivering an outstanding experience.


THE MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS TO BE CONSIDERED

  • Current lifeguard certification (American Red Cross or equivalent)
  • CPR and First Aid certification
  • Strong swimming skills and the ability to pass a swim test
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure

Lifeguard experience is preferred but not required!
