Job description

SPICE WORLD, LLC

Production Employee – Fresh



For more than 76 years, Spice World has been passionate about bringing everyone a world full of flavor, year-round.

As a Production Employee in the Fresh Department, you will be responsible for sorting and packaging fresh products while keeping the work area clean and safe.

  • Preparing, moving boxes for production.
  • Stagging pallets with boxes for production line as per production schedule.
  • Sweeping and maintaining work area clean.
  • Report all defects, violations, line/equipment malfunction and issues to line leader.
  • Sorting and packaging good garlic, shallots and discarding as per production schedule.
  • Use ERP Parity Mobile to track work orders and inventories.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • Availability to work five days, eight hours shifts from Monday to Friday and overtime hours as needed.
  • This is a second shift position.
  • Availability to work on weekends as per production schedule.
  • Must be able to lift 10-pound boxes regularly.

Education and Experience:

  • High School diploma/G.E.D. or equivalent required.
  • Utilize knowledge and requirements of Good Manufacturing Practices.
  • Willingness to work overtime and/or Saturdays.

Abilities and Skills:

  • Strong commitment to company goals and values.
  • Friendly and positive attitude.
  • Good communicator and listener.
  • Must be able to work with Parity Mobile.
