Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical histories and physical examinations
  • Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses in collaboration with physicians and healthcare teams
  • Develop and implement personalized care plans for patients
  • Prescribe medications and other treatments in accordance with state and federal regulations
  • Educate patients and their families on health management, preventive care, and treatment options
  • Document patient interactions accurately and maintain detailed medical records
  • Stay current with medical research, best practices, and regulatory requirements

Requirements

Master's degree from an accredited PA or NP program

NCCPA Certification (PANCE passed)

Vermont PA license (or eligibility)

Proven experience as a PA or NP in a primary care setting preferred

Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Knowledge of electronic health records (EHR) systems and healthcare software
