TURQUIOISE PLACE DIRECTOR OF FACILITIES
Summary:
Responsible for oversight of building and condo unit maintenance tasks to insure maintenance performed to company standards. The Director of Facilities is responsible to plan, schedule, assign and supervise all work performed by the Maintenance and Aquatics team and outside contractors. Manage and monitor timely response to work orders to maintain superior customer service to owners and guests.
Essential Functions:
  • Oversee performance of general repairs in maintenance fields in a timely and efficient manner as assigned by daily work orders. Monitor open work orders to ensure timely completion.
  • Oversee building towers and all water features (pools, hot tubs, fountains, etc.)
  • Work directly with Maintenance team to coordinate work order completion and proper invoicing for work performed.
  • Ensure overall cleanliness of work areas to include maintenance shop and storage areas are clean, neat and safe.
  • Maintain positive work environment to facilitate excellent service standards.
  • Ensure that all inventories are maintained to pars.
  • Follow all safety guidelines and hold employees accountable to follow safety policies and procedures. Be familiar with OSHA requirements and ensure compliance to them.
  • Perform administrative duties as needed to include budget preparation, monthly forecasts, oversight of invoices, employee evaluations, payroll, scheduling, discipline, and culture alignment.
  • Provide guest survey feedback to employees on a regular basis.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, and in departmental training programs as required.
  • Perform other duties, functions, or tasks as assigned by supervisor.

Required Skills:
  • Must possess excellent oral/written communication skills.
  • Must possess excellent customer service skills
  • Must be able to work in a team environment and motivate team
  • Must have excellent organizational skills
  • Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs and the ability to learn other property specific programs
  • Must possess a valid driver license and have an acceptable driving record
  • Must possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in the construction or maintenance fields
  • Must possess a minimum of 3 years experience in large building systems, cooling towers, water features, etc.
  • Must have minimum of 3 years of management/director experience
  • Must have working knowledge in these fields: plumbing, electrical, sheetrock, HVAC, pool maintenance, fire systems, etc.

Job requirements:
  • Be able to lift 50 pounds.
  • Be able to stand/walk for entire shift.
  • Must be able to climb ladders and stairs.
  • Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel
  • Must be able to work in outside weather conditions
  • Must be available to work weekends/holidays

Compensation: $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
