Semiconductor Specialty Gas & Precursor Delivery Systems

We are hiring a Senior Product Manager - Semiconductor Specialty Gas & Precursor Delivery Systems to lead the global strategy, development, and commercialization of specialty gas delivery equipment, precursor delivery systems, and platform technologies supporting the semiconductor industry. This role combines product management, semiconductor capital equipment expertise, product lifecycle management, customer engagement, technical leadership, and New Product Introduction (NPI) to drive scalable product platforms, improve market competitiveness, and support long-term business growth.
Responsibilities:
Product Strategy & Portfolio Leadership
  • Own the global product strategy and lifecycle management for specialty gas delivery systems, precursor delivery equipment, and associated platform technologies.
  • Develop and maintain multi-year product and technology roadmaps aligned with semiconductor manufacturing trends, customer requirements, and business objectives.
  • Define and monitor key product performance metrics, including revenue growth, market adoption, profitability, quality, and customer satisfaction.
  • Lead portfolio planning to support standardization, scalability, and long-term product competitiveness.
Technical Leadership & Customer Engagement
  • Serve as the primary technical authority for customers, sales teams, channel partners, and internal stakeholders.
  • Translate customer specifications, semiconductor process requirements, and application challenges into scalable product solutions.
  • Build relationships with semiconductor manufacturers, OEMs, EPC firms, and technology partners to understand evolving fabrication facility and process requirements.
  • Represent us during customer meetings, technical reviews, industry conferences, and semiconductor technology events.
  • Monitor competitive products, emerging semiconductor technologies, market trends, and regional investment activities.
Commercial Strategy & Sales Enablement
  • Partner with global sales teams to support strategic pursuits and secure key customer opportunities.
  • Present product capabilities, technology roadmaps, competitive differentiators, and value propositions to customers and stakeholders.
  • Support commercial strategy through competitive analysis, product positioning, pricing guidance, and value-based selling.
  • Lead equipment selection, product configuration, and quotation support for customer opportunities.
  • Review customer specifications, URS documentation, engineering standards, and procurement requirements to recommend optimal technical solutions.
  • Develop technical sales collateral, product documentation, and training materials to improve sales effectiveness.
  • Define product scope, platform selection, compliance requirements, and technical solutions for complex proposals.
  • Promote standardized product platforms while ensuring customer requirements are satisfied.
  • Establish governance processes for configuration management, customization requests, and technical deviations.
Cross-Functional Product Execution
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and New Product Introduction (NPI) teams throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Lead product development from concept through commercialization and market launch.
  • Ensure products are designed for manufacturability, scalability, reliability, serviceability, and cost competitiveness.
  • Drive continuous product improvements based on customer feedback, operational performance, quality metrics, and field experience.
  • Champion platform-based product development to improve delivery speed, profitability, and repeatability.
  • Ensure global alignment across regions for product standards, configurations, and portfolio strategy.

Qualifications:
  • U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal Law
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, or a related technical discipline; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in Product Management, Product Engineering, Applications Engineering, or a related technical leadership role.
  • Experience within semiconductor capital equipment, specialty gas delivery systems, precursor delivery systems, or other high-purity process equipment markets.
  • Strong knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes, gas delivery technologies, and semiconductor fabrication facility infrastructure.
  • Demonstrated success developing product strategies, technology roadmaps, and product portfolio management plans.
  • Experience managing products through the complete product lifecycle from concept through commercialization and end-of-life.
  • Proven ability to translate customer requirements into technical product specifications, business cases, and commercial opportunities.
  • Experience interpreting customer specifications, process requirements, P&IDs, engineering documentation, and technical standards.
  • Experience supporting complex technical sales opportunities, proposal development, quotation reviews, and customer-facing technical discussions.
  • Knowledge of product positioning, competitive analysis, pricing strategies, market segmentation, and value-based selling.
  • Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams including Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Sales, Quality, and executive leadership.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Advanced degree in Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, or a related technical field.
  • Experience driving platform standardization within a custom-engineered equipment environment.
  • Experience supporting global semiconductor customers and multinational product portfolios.
  • Knowledge of configuration management, product governance, and technical deviation processes.
