Job description

**This position requires alternating weekends/holiday.
The Hybrid Pharmacy Technician is responsible for performing tasks related to the area in which they are scheduled. Specialty operations includes management of specialty prescriptions and patients on those medications. Responsibilities include communication with hospital staff and outside vendors regarding all things related to billing, data entry, fulfillment, procurement, and shipment of patient medications. Inpatient operations include preparation, dispensing, and delivery of patient medications, maintenance of appropriate records, IV compounding. Communication with hospital staff, patients, visitors, and outside vendors.
Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Indiana Pharmacy Technician License
  • National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB), preferred or willing to obtain
  • Hospital pharmacy experience, preferred
  • Specialty pharmacy experience, preferred
  • 2+ years retail pharmacy experience, preferred
  • 340B understanding and experience, preferred
