Job description

On behalf of our client we are looking for an Operations Associate to support the day to day performance of a growing team in Chicago, Illinois. This position plays an important role in keeping business activities organized, efficient, and compliant while helping leadership maintain smooth internal coordination. The ideal candidate brings a practical approach to operations, strong administrative judgment, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a small company environment.


Compensation: $95,000 - $120,000

Monday-Friday

8:30am-5:30pm

Remote primarily will need to go into office when owner is in town, or a client needs something

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operational activities to help ensure workflows remain efficient, organized, and aligned with business needs.

• Coordinate administrative processes, documentation, and internal follow-up so key tasks are completed accurately and on schedule.

• Support account-related activities by maintaining records, assisting with client coordination, and helping resolve operational issues promptly.

• Monitor compliance-related requirements and help maintain proper procedures, files, and reporting standards across the business.

• Assist with basic bookkeeping duties organizing invoices.

• Work closely with leadership to identify process gaps, recommend practical improvements, and strengthen overall operational consistency.

• Maintain clear communication across the team to help prioritize work, manage deadlines, and keep essential activities moving forward.

• Experience supporting business operations, office administration, or a similar operations-focused role.

• Working knowledge of operational coordination, administrative support, and task management in a detail-oriented setting.

• Ability to manage account related administrative responsibilities with accuracy and strong attention to detail.

• Familiarity with compliance practices and the importance of maintaining organized business records.

• Basic bookkeeping skills, including experience handling invoices, tracking expenses, or maintaining financial documentation.

• Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to balance multiple responsibilities effectively.

• Comfortable working in a small team environment where adaptability and initiative are essential.
