Special Events Security

We are currently seeking Per-Diem Event Staff to join our growing USI team in Fairfield, CT!

Become an integral part of the security team for the upcoming Collegiate EVENT SECURITY Season

Wage: $29/hour

Per Diem / Calendar Events

Event Security Officer Responsibilities

  • Provide a high-quality customer service interaction with all fans which will set the tone for the overall entertainment experience.
  • Assist fans in locating and supplying general information.
  • Reporting suspicious incidents
  • Monitor staff, patrons, and visitors during assigned events.
  • Patrolling assigned section frequently to maintain safety
  • Using oral de-escalation when needed
  • Writing daily reports of any incidents that may occur

Security Officer Qualifications and Skills

  • 1 Year Security Officer Experience preferred
  • Must be able to stand for up to 8 hours
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Can always stay alert and proactive
  • Ability to work in high pedestrian traffic environments

Education and Experience Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • CT Security License required
