Job Summary

DSI Security is growing again and is now hiring Unarmed Event Security Officers to support a special events on June 18th in the Birmingham Alabama
If you enjoy a fast-paced environment, working with the public, and being part of exciting events, this is a great opportunity to join a diverse, inclusive, and people-first security team.
Job Duties amp; Responsibilities
  • Maintain a safe and secure environment at special events
  • Provide visible security presence for concerts, sporting events, festivals, and holiday events
  • Assist with crowd control, access points, and guest flow
  • Observe, report, and respond to safety concerns and suspicious activity
  • Follow DSI policies, client requirements, and event-specific post instructions
  • Interact professionally with guests, staff, clients, and the public
  • Promote safety while delivering excellent customer service
  • Participate in required training and follow all safety procedure

Schedule amp; Work Environment
  • Flexible, event-based scheduling
  • Outdoor and indoor event locations
  • Standing, walking, and foot patrol for extended periods

Qualifications amp; Requirements
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Valid driver’s license preferred
  • Reliable transportation and communication
  • Basic to intermediate computer skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to stand for long periods and work in all weather conditions
  • Ability to pass required background and drug screenings
