Hofbrauhaus Cleveland - Special Event Personnel Job Description
Hofbrauhaus Cleveland is seeking energetic and motivated Special Event Personnel. The mission statement to achieve our desired results in this role: Deliver a great quality experience in food and service while offsite of the Hofbrauhaus property. Represent yourself as well as the brand in an authentic and professional manner at all times. Striving to increase awareness and desire to visit the Hofbrauhaus Cleveland, book a catered event/party or Oktoberfest event; or arrange a party with our special events in house team. Hofbrauhaus Cleveland's attention to detail and desire to consistently deliver a great experience sets us apart from the competition.
Special Event Personnel Position Requirements:
The job includes but may not be limited to:
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds multiple times throughout the day.
• Ability to stand for many hours in a single location.
• Ability to work in a physical environment where you will be moving, packing, unloading and setting up multiple times a day. Following specific guidelines and delivering a presentation that is consistent and organized to the standard of the event coordinators and the Direction of the business development manager and offsite event manager.
• Maintains food safety guidelines and regulations to insure the highest quality food and service are delivered every time.
• Be a problem solver and not an identifier. You have to think on your feet and work with a close knit team to optimize proficiency and stream line operations to execute at a high level.
• Must be a team player and have the ability to maintain a positive attitude in the face of adversity or high stress and high pressure situations. Must take direction to execute as a team.
• Event server personnel must have a great sense of communication and the ability to adapt to missing or partial information.
• Efficient set up and tear down that is safe and organized and clean. Being respectful of the environment and the needs of the event staff to clean up quickly and with no surprises.
• Must be able to work long hours in the heat and weather conditions that may be varying.
• Reports directly to the event lead of that shift, who reports to the Director of Business Development.
• Handles any cash drawer money with a sense of integrity and ownership to deliver on our objectives of cost effective and accuracy in reporting.
• Turns in any cash collected during the event and or any special tickets or marketing material that is stipulated at the end of the event.
• Must have ability to work multiple situations where you may be serving food, handling equipment, cooking or re stocking as necessary to drive the sale.
• Restocks in an efficient manner to execute quickly and safely. Delivering a great guest experience every time.
• Takes direction, advice, and coaching to improve in all aspects of offsite function. Honestly works to improve ability to execute great events and become better at job.
