About the Role

Hello Special Education Teachers! Come work with a woman and therapist run company doing what you love! Ampersand Therapy is hiring Special Education Teachers for the 2026-2027 school year in the Glendale/Phoenix, AZ area. We are looking for teachers who have experience with self-contained behavior classrooms. We're seeking passionate and collaborative professionals who are excited to make a meaningful impact in the school-based setting.

What You'll Do

  • Create an inclusive classroom setting for all learners
  • Develop and implement IEP goals and therapy plans
  • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with school teams
  • Partner with teachers and families to support carryover of skills
  • Maintain timely documentation, progress notes, and compliance records
  • Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's or Master'sDegree in Education or Related Field
  • Active Arizona Special Education Teacher license
  • Active Fingerprint Clearance Card
  • Previous experience working in the classroom setting is preferred
