Job description

Sterile Processing Supervisor
(Medical Device Industry | Dayton, OH | On-Site | Single Hospital Account)

Built for SPD Leaders Ready to Drive Meaningful Change - From Within
You've trained teams. You've fixed broken workflows. You've led departments through audits, turnover, and change. Now imagine applying that same expertise in a more focused, high-impact way - embedded within a single hospital, where you can truly see transformation through from start to finish.
This role is designed for experienced SPD Managers, SPD Supervisors, Educators, and departmental leaders who want to transition into the medical device industry while staying deeply connected to clinical practice. Rather than traveling site to site, you'll be fully dedicated to one hospital account, acting as the on-site expert who drives adoption, education, and long-term workflow optimization.
You won't be turning wrenches. You'll be doing what you already do best - teaching, coaching, optimizing workflows, and building confident, compliant teams - but with the time and consistency to make lasting change.Your Impact
  • Serve as the dedicated on-site expert within a single hospital's Sterile Processing Department and Operating Room
  • Lead implementation, adoption, and ongoing optimization of new technologies and workflows
  • Partner directly with SPD leadership, educators, supervisors, and OR teams to evaluate current processes and drive improvements
  • Deliver hands-on education and structured training programs that elevate team performance and confidence
  • Provide continuous coaching and reinforcement, ensuring adoption goes beyond initial training
  • Act as a trusted advisor and embedded partner, supporting the department through change, challenges, and growth
  • Identify opportunities for workflow standardization, quality improvement, and compliance readiness
  • Serve as the voice of the customer, sharing insights to inform internal strategy and future enhancements
  • Build strong, long-term relationships that drive sustained operational success
Who This Role Is For
This role is ideal for someone who:
  • Has 7+ years in Sterile Processing or OR environments, with leadership or education responsibilities
  • Has worked as an SPD Manager, Assistant Manager, Educator, Supervisor, or Lead Tech with department-wide influence
  • Is known for being approachable, enthusiastic, credible, and effective in training and change management
  • Thrives in a hands-on, embedded environment where they can see initiatives through over time
  • Is excited about the opportunity to make a lasting impact within one facility
  • Enjoys building strong relationships and becoming a trusted, go-to resource within a team
Qualifications
  • Associate degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred
  • CRCST (or equivalent) strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated success in staff education, workflow redesign, quality initiatives, accreditation readiness, or department leadership
  • Strong communication and presentation skills - comfortable training individuals or full departments
  • Healthcare implementation, consulting, or medical device experience is a plus, not a requirement
What We Offer
  • Competitive compensation package
  • Stable, on-site role with no travel requirements
  • The opportunity to make a deep, measurable impact within a single hospital system
  • A visible, respected role within a mission-driven medical device organization
  • Clear pathway to grow your career beyond the hospital setting while staying clinically relevant
