Job Description: Grinder Machinist Operator - Aerospace Spring Manufacturing
Location: Anaheim, CA
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7 am - 3:30 pm
Position Type: Full-time, Temp-to-Hire

Position Summary: We are seeking a skilled Grinder Machinist Operator for our spring manufacturing
facility in Anaheim. The Grinder Machinist Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining grinding
machinery, ensuring product quality, and adhering to safety standards. This role is crucial for maintaining
production efficiency and product excellence.

Job Responsibilities:
• Set up and operate CNC and manual grinders according to instructions and engineering drawings.
• Change tooling and wheels, making proper offsets and setups as needed.
• Interpret blueprint dimensions.
• Understand and follow machining policies and instructions: MI, QSR, ISO, SOPs, work rules, and
safety guidelines.
• Meet schedules and maintain quality standards.
• Familiarize with department policies, procedures, methods, and techniques.
• Create and read SPC charts.
• Follow Quality Control charts.
• Check loads and rates of springs.
• Ensure parts meet customer tolerance limits.
• Notify production immediately of any problems.
• Repair, remake, or create tools necessary for setups.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
• Experience in a production or manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Basic understanding of quality control and SPC.
• Ability to operate and maintain various machinery.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills to report issues promptly
