Job description

1st shift Machine Operator (Brush Molded Operator)


Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Equipment Operation: Operate and monitor various molded brush presses, overhead hoist equipment, and related machinery in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Material Handling & Thermal Processing: Load trays of molded brush products to feed onto a conveyor belt system, or load trays into industrial ovens and retort furnaces.
  • Quality Control & Data Entry: Perform basic quality checks on all parts produced to ensure strict compliance with established drawings and specifications. Perform Statistical Process Control (SPC) and accurately enter data into tracking charts.
  • Equipment Adjustment: Make frequent adjustments and recalibrations to various pieces of equipment to ensure optimal safety and quality operations.
  • Inventory & Logistics: Proactively obtain necessary materials and supplies from Hardware or Plate Stock to maintain consistent, efficient production flow.


Qualifications & Skills
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing, machining, or press operation environment preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret basic technical drawings, blueprints, and quality specifications.
  • Comfortable using computers for basic data entry (SPC charting).
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform minor equipment adjustments.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and following strict safety protocols.

It was a tradition that names derived in such a way would bring success to that person or business. So, from Carol’s home, SEEK assignment employees were sent to serve the temporary needs of Ozaukee County business people. The business grew and was eventually incorporated in 1975. The Grafton office expanded from Carol’s home to several other buildings in town before finally settling in their current location on Opportunity Drive in Grafton in 1997. Currently, there are 19 total branch offices with 16 located throughout Wisconsin and a recent acquisition has expanded SEEK’s portfolio to 3 branch offices in the Twin Cities.
