How do Spanish-Russian translators typically manage the challenges of translating idiomatic expressions and cultural references between the two languages?

Spanish-Russian translators often encounter unique challenges when translating idiomatic expressions and cultural nuances, as direct translations may not convey the intended meaning. To address this, translators need a deep understanding of both cultures and may use equivalent expressions or provide brief explanations to maintain clarity. Collaborating with native speakers and performing thorough research are common practices to ensure accuracy. Additionally, many translators participate in peer review processes or consult with colleagues to refine their translations and uphold quality standards.
