Position Summary

El Milagro is seeking an IT Supervisor to hire, lead, and develop an effective IT team while designing and implementing key IT strategies for the organization. This role will be responsible for assessing and improving IT infrastructure, managing IT projects, developing departmental budgets, and coordinating with third-party IT vendors to ensure high performance, security, and operational reliability across the company.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

IT Strategy & Infrastructure

· Analyze and assess the current state of El Milagros's IT systems, infrastructure, and team organization.

· Upgrade IT equipment, software, and processes where immediately necessary.

· Develop a detailed road map with completion dates to optimize IT systems and organization.

· Present comprehensive 1-year, 2-year, and 3-year IT improvement and standardization plans to upper management.

Project Management

· Become acquainted with current IT projects and assume the majority of project management responsibilities.

· Take full ownership of all future IT project management moving forward.

· Troubleshoot open and pending items that interfere with daily business operations.

Security & Risk Management

· Establish best-in-class security protocols, including MFA and security awareness campaigns.

· Mitigate security risks to support necessary liability insurance coverage and company protection.

Vendor & Financial Management

· Review invoices from IT providers and consulting firms to improve efficiency, streamline responsibilities, and enhance communication.

· Review and approve department purchases and develop a comprehensive, transparent departmental budget.

· Manage and approve statements of work (SOWs) and billable hours for consulting services.

· Routinely audit IT vendors, services, and creditors to maintain competitive pricing and reduce costs.

Team Leadership & Development

· Develop job descriptions for new key IT roles.

· Recruit, hire, and onboard IT staff with the skills and motivation needed to meet departmental objectives.

· Consistently evaluate employee performance and provide coaching and guidance.

· Promote El Milagro’s company values through leadership, training, and team development.

Culture & Continuous Improvement

· Maintain an “all-hands-on-deck” attitude in support of department build out and business needs.

· Continuously develop personal mastery of IT topics and identify improvements to company processes.

· Uphold and promote El Milagro’s core values: Quality, Integrity, and Family.

Required Reporting

· Provide a verbal and/or written weekly report to leadership on IT progress, priorities, and departmental needs.

Skills Required 

· Experience managing IT projects and vendor relationships

· Proven ability to lead teams, coach employees, and build departments

· Ability to manage budgets, purchasing approvals, and contract/vendor oversight

· Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with different departments.

· Strong IT infrastructure knowledge (networks, systems, software, security)

· Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

· Experience with server maintenance and network administration.

· Proficiency in desktop hardware/software installation and configuration.

· Familiarity with communication systems (8x8) and administrative software (Lace Up, NetSuite, Toast, ADP) preferred.

· Attention to detail and organizational skills.

Qualifications·

· Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

· Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field preferred.

· 5+ years of experience in IT support or similar role.

· Must have at least 3+ years of management experience to apply

· Experience with Windows operating systems and networking principles.

Expected Schedule: Mon-Fri, 9:00am-5:30pm
