Cleaning Specialist - Cleaner with Janitorial Experience
START IMMEDIATELY - Schedule and Location: Fort Lauderdale - Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday - from 5:30pm to 6am-9am (12 hours/ Weekly).
We are seeking dedicated, detail-oriented, and reliable Cleaning Specialists to provide cleaning and sanitation services for a veterinary hospital. The ideal candidate is passionate about maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for pets, clients, and staff. Candidates should have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in an animal-care environment.What You'll Do:
  • Every area of the hospital is to be cleaned. (Excluding medical equipment, lab equipment, animal holding areas, and surgical rooms).
  • Vacuum all carpeted areas.
  • Dusting of the entire hospital (countertops, window ledges, on tops of cage banks, on tops of cabinets, air returns/ceiling vents, etc.).
  • Sweep and mop floors throughout the entire hospital (excluding the surgical suite).
  • Clean Glass Entry Doors (interior & exterior to remove fingerprints and smudges).
  • Clean and disinfect cabinets and hardware.
  • Wipe clean and disinfect all door handles, light switches, and wall plates.
  • Clean/wipe down appliances (exterior).
  • Full detail cleaning of all restrooms (i.e. Toilets, sinks, floors, mirrors/glass, trash, walls).
  • Empty wastepaper receptacles, reline and wipe clean containers. Excludes medical waste bins.
  • Dusting and wiping on top of animal cage banks.
  • Dusting and wiping on top of cabinets.
  • Bathroom Return Vents to be vacuum-cleaned and wiped down.
  • Clean inside microwave oven.
  • Exterior window cleaning.
  • Dusting All HVAC and return vents within reach using VEG's on-site ladders, especially in bathrooms and individual rooms.
  • Dust the suspended light fixtures throughout the hospital (6-8 per location).
  • Work to be performed from the ground using extension dusters.
  • Move cage banks and clean behind them.
  • Move everything off the countertops and clean.
  • Clean inside refrigerator.

What We're Looking For:
  • Maintenance and/or cleaning experience.
  • Detail-oriented and meticulous.
  • Must be able to perform tasks that involve light lifting, bending, and stooping.
  • Must be a team player with a positive, can-do attitude.
  • Must always maintain a strong awareness of safety.
  • Must be able to pass a Background Check.
  • Must be able to pass Drug Test.
  • Bilingual English & Spanish preferred.
