GENERAL POSITION SUMMARY:

The role of Warehouse Supervisor will support the Warehouse Manager in managing warehouse operations, processes and procedures aligned with executing and maintaining the flow of merchandise from intake to the guest for all Space Needle and Chihuly Gardens and Glass retail locations and non-retail departments, utilizing the Warehouse's resources. To support the company's vision, goals and initiatives while displaying a guest centric attitude in all interactions. 


ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITES

  • Supervising and assist training of all warehouse/stock team members to ensure high productivity and that all company procedures are followed and standards are met. 
  • Conduct warehouse stock team member reviews (probationary and annual). 
  • Enforcement of company policies and implementation of Progressive Discipline Process. 
  • Supervise and assist in daily Gift Shop replenishment to ensure all stocking standards are met. 
  • Support, Organize and prepare all on-site stock areas are prepared for inventory 
  • Supervising role for auditing and reconciling discrepancies during inventory. 
  • Assist and communicate warehouse/stock team schedule and break information 
  • Support online business as needed (printing orders, pulling orders, shipping orders, customer services, updating Shopify info. 
  • Maintain proper warehouse operation supply inventory. 
  • Oversee and responsible for all transfers and keeping accurate inventory of offsite merchandise. 
  • Track overdue invoices to ensure accruals are accurate. 
  • Participate in physical inventory and rectify overages, shortages and polling/accounting needs. 
  • Support and assist Retail invoicing as needed. 


OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure daily stock status changes are updated on order sheets. 
  • Support Peak season overnight shift. 
  • Ensure weekly markdowns are completed per procedure. 
  • Assist Warehouse manager to lead meetings to inform and motivate team. 
  • Issue work orders promptly. 
  • Documentation of incidents and accidents relating to security, emergencies. 
  • Liaison to Team Leaders and Buyers regarding product status. 
  • Support team member recognition program. 
  • Knowledge of Fire, Life, and Safety and emergency procedures. 
  • May be asked to perform job tasks not specifically related to primary assignment for the success of the business and property as requested by management. 


EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Retail and/or Supervisor experience. 
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds. 
  • Ability to drive company van. 
  • Excellent time management skills. 
  • Ability to anticipate and solve problems. 
  • College degree preferred. 
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Windows, Word, and Excel. 
  • Demonstrate a "Guest First" attitude. 
  • Ability to work weekends. 


Full Time, Hourly Position

Hourly Rate: $25.30- $25.30 / hour

  • Paid Time Off of 14 days / year based on working 2080 hours / year 
  • Tuition reimbursement of 50%, up to $2500 / year

  • 25% discount for many purchases at the Space Needle (Retail, Food and Beverage, not applied towards alcohol purchases)
