GENERAL POSITION SUMMARY:

Responsible for developing and implementing the social media strategy for the Space Needle & Chihuly Garden and Glass to amplify our visitors' experiences, build brand affinity, support marketing and PR campaigns, and engage with our community to turn Guests into fans. Work with the Director of PR and PR managers to create, implement, track, and optimize our social media presence with the goal of increasing awareness and attendance for the Space Needle & Chihuly Garden and Glass. 


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Develop, implement, and manage the Space Needle & Chihuly Garden and Glass social media strategies across six accounts (Space Needle, Chihuly Garden and Glass, The Loupe Lounge, The Bar at Chihuly Garden and Glass, Base 2 Space, and See It All). 
  • Monitor and proactively increase social traffic, growth, and engagement performance across all platforms. 
  • Create social media content (including copy, photography, and video content). 
  • Develop a pipeline of content for all social media channels to include user-generated content, photography partners, and photoshoots. 
  • Define KPIs and measure the success of social media campaigns and ongoing activity. 
  • Develop and maintain a company social media standard SOP. 
  • Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices, trends, platforms, and technologies. 
  • Collaborate with internal and external clients to create positive communication and strong relationships. 
  • Other duties as assigned. 


EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED: 

  • 3+ years of professional content curation and social media marketing experience. 
  • Proven track record of growing and retaining social audiences. 
  • Sound knowledge of key tools including Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, Supermetrics, CrowdRiff, etc. 
  • Experience in consumer-facing brands (especially hospitality, tourism, attractions, food & beverage) a plus. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office. 
  • Can work in a fast-paced, collaborative, dynamic office environment. 
  • Ability to work occasional evenings or weekends as requested.  
  • Excellent organizational skills. 
  • Detail oriented. 
  • Self-motivated, creative and team oriented. 
  • Conscientious in quality and guest service. 
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills. 
  • Able to lift and carry 35 pounds and stand for multiple hours at events. 

Full time, Salaried position

Salary Range: $70K - $80K DOE
