SOL SPA is looking to expand our team of sales-minded Spa Consultants! If you have a passion for wellness and fitness, this could be the position for you!

With no cap on commissions, you control your paycheck!


Mission: To contribute to the overall success of SOL SPA® by delivering superior customer service through execution of required duties and to meet and exceed performance goals. To maintain the SOL SPA® brand through various local and national marketing tactics and to professionally represent the brand at all times.

Initial and Required Training & Certifications:

  • Complete NTTI certification. One time certification.

  • Complete all assigned SOL SPA® and HOTWORX University Online required courses for level of employment.

  • Complete any newly introduced courses as they are available.

  • Complete on-site training including the Circle of Success processes, spa operations, equipment maintenance, skin care and product training and all other applicable on-site applications.

  • Complete any assigned webinar and/or phone conference sessions and be prepared to take any quizzes or tests to ensure material is retained.

  • Additional training requirements may be required at any time.

Basic Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Schedule must be accounted for via a time card in SOL SPA POS..

  • Arrive on 15 minutes before all scheduled work shifts, outside events and/or training sessions.

  • Consistently maintain a professional appearance by adhering to the SOL SPA® Uniform Policy & Code of Conduct. No exceptions are allowed.

  • Maintain SOL SPA® customer service standards at all times.

  • Use services at least once a week to give first hand results/tips.

  • Turn in a required “First 50” referral list (to be turned in within 30 days of hire)

Spa Equipment & Product Maintenance Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness throughout the spa including lobby area, service rooms, restrooms and any other areas to ensure superior customer service and sanitation expectations are exceeded.

  • Complete all daily, weekly and monthly maintenance requirements as assigned by Spa Director.

  • Participate in scheduled monthly spa equipment maintenance and cleaning sessions in order to maintain sanitation standards.

  • Report any damaged or un-usable equipment to Spa Director immediately as problems are identified.

  • Monitor levels of products when on shift to prevent theft. Report any damaged products or missing products to Spa Director immediately.

  • Assist in rotating and organizing product displays as assigned by Spa Director.

  • Assist in maintain accurate inventory reports in software at all times and spot check weekly. Monthly reports of shortage must be reported to Spa Director.

Register Functions & Membership Billing Responsibilities:

  • Complete proper data entry processes for all guests, members and clients at all times.

  • Execute proper register methods when ringing up services and entering usage of services.

  • Ensure all guests and members check in via QR code.

  • Confirm all daily revenue (including cash, checks and credit cards) is accounted for at all times to prevent theft.

  • Perform daily bank deposit processes once all revenue is properly accounted for. Report any and all shortages or overages to franchisee or Spa Director.

  • Ensure all customer memos are read and when necessary issues are addressed with the customer. Failure to read and abide by memos from the Spa Director or franchisee can result in corrective action.

  • Send the text updates to the staff group at 10:00, 2:00, and 5:00 as well as the end of the day recap email.

Prospecting, Consulting & Sales Responsibilities

  • Execute all quadrants of the 4 quadrant marketing program. Non-negotiables on a monthly basis include:

  1. Generate a minimum of 30 new leads by obtaining name, phone number and email address and have them visit the spa.

  2. Ensure that a minimum of 5 guest passes are returned to the spa with new guests

  • Ensure Daily Duties Checklist is completed.

  • Submit required close of business reports to Spa Director/franchisee nightly.

  • Update personal Consultant Prospecting spreadsheets weekly to ensure proper use of prospecting duties and for the Spa Director to review. This includes but is not limited to: new member follow up procedures, new guest tracking, etc.

  • Utilize marketing tools simultaneously and consistently to maximize traffic. Personal Minimum Prospecting Requirements are as follows:

  1. Place and maintain 10 lead boxes in strategic business to be checked weekly.

  2. Enroll a minimum of 10 new Spa Members each month

  3. Generate a minimum of 10 new guests per month through the Referral Process

  4. Execute one after hours Spa Party each quarter with total sales to exceed $800+

  5. Execute one outside promotion each month

  6. Conduct a minimum of 10 consultations each month with sales averaging $200+

  • Do what is reasonably necessary to ensure that all personal goals and team goals are met.

  • Obtain one Product/ Service Consultation Appointment for every new member.

  • Complete all daily and weekly goal documents as directed by Spa Director. This may include phone tracking documents, closing percentage, Daily Game Plan and any others as directed by Spa Director.

  • Use all methods of member retention to promote the growth of SOL SPA’s member base, including the following:

    1. Implement Referral Process with all new members

    2. Recommending monthly EFT memberships above all other service options first

    3. Utilize usage and skin care consultations on a ongoing basis

    4. Compliment each member each and every time a member/guest comes into the spa.

  • Utilize Consultation Calendar daily to confirm new appointments & record telephone inquiries. Proper phone scripts must be utilized.
