Employees in these positions work to provide relaxation, wellness, and beauty services to clients, often in settings like day spas, resort spas, or wellness centers. The work environment is usually calm and focused on customer service, requiring good communication and interpersonal skills. Spa employment can offer flexible hours, opportunities for advancement, and the chance to work in a health-oriented environment.
