To succeed as a Part Time Registered Nurse in Med Surg at Southwest Health System, Inc., you'll need a robust set of qualifications and skills.
Knowledge and skills required for the position are:
Nursing Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Associate degree required bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Current Registered Nurse Licensure within state of Colorado. Compact license accepted and Colorado License must be obtained within first 90 days of hire.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Current PALS certification within 6 months of hire 12 months if a new graduate.
  • Current ACLS certification within 6 months of hire 12 months if a new graduate.
  • Successful completion of EKG course within 4 months of hire.
Language Skills:
  • Able to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing.
  • Additional languages preferred.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
Skills:
  • Basic computer knowledge.
  • Strong communication skills
