We’re looking for a motivated Catering Director to help us grow our catering business and deliver exceptional service to our clients. About the Role

As our Catering Director, you’ll be the face of our catering business, managing client communication, driving sales, and ensuring every event runs smoothly. This hybrid role combines client management, administrative support, and business development, making it perfect for someone who thrives in a dynamic and collaborative environment. With a focus on professionalism, organization, and initiative, you’ll play a key role in helping us grow and maintain strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

Here’s what you’ll be doing as our Catering Director:

  • Respond to catering inquiries and communicate directly with prospective clients.
  • Conduct scheduled client consultation calls to understand their needs.
  • Create detailed catering proposals and follow up with prospective clients.
  • Manage client communication from initial inquiry through event completion.
  • Maintain organized client records and track upcoming event details.
  • Prepare Event Briefs and necessary event paperwork.
  • Follow up with past clients to encourage repeat business.
  • Assist with email marketing and client outreach efforts.
  • Build relationships with event venues, planners, businesses, and other referral partners.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to generate new catering business.
  • Support additional client-management and administrative tasks as needed.
What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking a candidate who embodies professionalism, dependability, and a proactive mindset. Here’s what we’re looking for:

  • At least 1 year of experience in catering, hospitality, event planning, sales, business development, account management, or client services.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Confidence in speaking with clients and taking initiative to generate business.
  • Comfort with learning and using platforms such as HoneyBook, Wix, Canva, Google Workspace, and other business tools.
  • A self-starter who thrives in a hybrid work environment and can work independently.
  • Someone who is excited about helping a growing catering company succeed.
Compensation & Schedule
  • Starting Pay: $28–$30/hour based on experience.
  • Hours: Approximately 25–35 hours per week.
  • Schedule: Hybrid position, Monday–Friday, with consultations scheduled between 10 AM–5 PM. Regular weekend work is not required.
  • Perks: A company laptop will be provided, and there may be opportunities for additional paid event-preparation projects based on business needs.
