BrightStar Care is Hiring Personal Care Attendants (PCA) and Caregivers!

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of others? Join the BrightStar Care team as a Personal Care Attendant (PCA) / Caregiver, where you'll provide compassionate, high-quality care to clients in the comfort of their homes. We specialize in assisting clients with their Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including toileting, transferring, hygiene, showering, companionship, and transportation.
Wages: $15โ€“$17 per hour (paid Weekly)
Availability: Must have consistent weekend availability on Saturday and/or Sunday
Locations: Summerlin, Southern Highlands, Spring Valley, Anthem, Boulder City, and Lake Las Vegas

Key Responsibilities:

  • Light housekeeping and meal preparation
  • Assisting with showers, personal hygiene, and bed baths
  • Safe transfers using gait belts or Hoyer lifts
  • Monitoring vital signs
  • Providing toileting assistance, including briefs, urinals, and bedpans
  • Delivering basic and advanced dementia care
  • Helping with repositioning for comfort
  • Transportation support
  • Pet Care

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Personal Care Attendant (PCA) / Caregiver

  • Must be comfortable working around household pets (cats/dogs) as this is common in client homes.
  • Valid physical and a negative 2-step TB test
  • CPR and First Aid certifications
