Job description

Shift 7:00 pm to 7:00 am

  • the last 24 hours of plant operation. Deal with any issues that need immediate attention with priority given to the containment of any suspect product.
  • Review schedule and tour the floor assuring all machines are following schedule and proper labeling is being performed. Must also look for line clearance issues
  • Review hold ware and bring to production what can be sorted or ground
  • Attend any scheduling meetings
  • Communicate all daily issues with the quality manager
  • Work with all supervisors in assisting them with any quality issues and/or quality technician issues
  • Assure all start-ups meet target specs and/or are within spec after exhausting all efforts to reach target
  • Reporting in SQL mold maintenance program all issues with tooling that is causing quality issues or our goal of reaching target specs
  • Before leaving for the day, go over with supervisor and lab techs all pending issues and review communication documentation
