Salary: $22.77 - $31.27 hr/avg ($16.27/hr + $6.50-$15/hr in tips) 50% employer-paid health benefits and 401K with 4% employer match for hourly employees who average over 30 hours per week. We provide paid sick leave as required by the HFWA.

Love ice cream, leading service events and being on the move? Sweet Cow is looking for friendly, high-energy Truck Leads who can safely drive our MooMobile mobile ice cream trucks, keep things fun and deliver exceptional, seamlessly executed events.


This is a hybrid role combining Truck Lead responsibilities on the MooMobile and Scooper responsibilities inside our Sweet Cow shops. Youll serve as the on-duty leader during MooMobile events and regularly work inside our Sweet Cow shops as a valued team member, supporting exceptional service, hospitality, and operational excellence. Because this role includes driving our MooMobile, applicants must have a minimum of three (3) years of active, licensed driving experience this is a strict, non-negotiable requirement.

What Youll Do

  • Execute on the MooMobile - Deliver high-quality MooMobile experiences
  • Operate the truck safely, serve efficiently, and connect authentically with guests
  • This role requires at least 3 years of licensed driving experience.
  • Keep the truck On Point - uphold our standards for cleanliness, organization, and efficiency
  • Lead MooMobileShifts - Coach, support, and inspire
  • Contribute as a positive, reliable team player during in-shop shifts.
  • Oversee transactions ensure smooth, accurate POS and cash handling
  • Be the vibe create and foster a fun, memorable experience for customers and crew
  • Problem-solve and communicate work with your team and solve real-time issues
  • Open and close the truck take responsibility for key daily operations

What We Need from You


Driving Requirements (Non-Negotiable)

  • Must be at least 18+ years old
  • Valid drivers license required
  • Minimum 3 years of licensed driving experience (learners permit not included)
  • Clean driving record required
  • Ability to safely operate a large, box-style or specialty vehicle (No CDL required)
  • Must maintain active personal automobile insurance meeting or exceeding state minimum requirements
  • Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a motor vehicle record (MVR) and background check



Role Requirements

  • Must have reliable personal transportation to travel to and from truck departure locations
  • At least six (6) months of experience delegating and/or coordinating the tasks of two or more employees
  • At least six (6) months of experience in a related service industry
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Work scheduled shifts inside Sweet Cow shops as needed. This is not a truck-only position. All MooMobile Truck Leads are required to maintain active shop availability.
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Able to stand for full shifts
  • Comfortable working in varying weather conditions (outdoor truck events)


Availability Requirements

Able to work at least 3 shifts per week (15+ hours)

Open availability required. We need team members with flexible availability.

Regardless of how many shifts you want to work, your availability must include:

Mon-Fri Availability: 4 daytime shifts (open - 4 pm)

-OR-

M-Thu Availability: 2 close shifts
+

Fri-Sun Availability: 2 close shifts

+

Sat-Sun Availability: 1 open shift

Must be available for nights, weekends, holidays, and scheduled truck events.


Compensation

Truck Lead role: $31.27 hr/avg ($16.27/hr + $15/hr average in tips)

Shop Scooper role:$22.77 hr/avg) $16.27/hr + $6.50hr average in tips)
