JOB SUMMARY:
Performs functions related to donations and food services. Plans, organizes and coordinates all functions related to shopping for resident needs (groceries, toiletries, etc.), donation pickups, inventory and storage. This includes ensuring food stocks are full, and donations are picked up, sorted and put in storage in a timely manner.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

2.ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย Maintains records necessary for participation in food programs.
3.ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย Is responsible for the purchasing, preparing and storage of groceries, culturally appropriate foods, and medically mandated foods, ensuring adequate supply of food products in all buildings.
4.ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย Complies with all health and safety regulations.

FOOD DONATIONS:
1.ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย Properly store all food donations at the main shelter in a timely manner.

IN-KIND DONATIONS:
1.ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย Creates donation pick up schedule and arranges for pick up.
2.ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย Follows the established storage method of donations maintaining order.
3.ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย Give completed donation pick up forms to the Administrative Assistant for receipt, acknowledgment, and computer entry.

1.ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย May be required to work additional hours during periods of increased organizational activity or operational demand
