POSITION SUMMARY

Peanuts Worldwide isseeking anIntellectual Property SupportAdministratortojoin our dedicated team, providing crucial support to our Peanuts Worldwide group! Reporting directly to the SVP of Business & Legal Affairs, this role will play a key part in building and protecting on a global basis the Peanuts brand.AstheIntellectual Property Support Administrator, the candidate will specialize in global brand protection and enforcement and anti-counterfeiting efforts for consumer goods and services and media.

This position will be on a Hybrid schedule with 2 days per week in theNYC office.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assistwith brand protection and anti-piracy enforcement, andmonitorand verify overall anti-counterfeiting measures

  • Maintainandadministervarious brand enforcement strategies including preparing draft letters and takedown notices from templates

  • Manageand administerdomestic and international customs clearance requests including liaising with account executives,agentsand licensees

  • Assist Business & Legal Affairs team and liaise with outside legal counselin supportingtrademark opposition and cancellation actions,supportingand updatingtrademarkand copyright infringement and other enforcement actions,collectingand organizing information and materials from various sources, communicating with internal stakeholders

  • Take ownership of assignments related to intellectual property processes, manage timelines, and ensure deadlines are met in a fluid and fast-paced global work environment

  • Additionalresponsibilities may be assigned

  • Honesty,trustworthinessand ethical conduct are material requirements for the responsibilities outlined above

QUALIFICATIONS FOR POSITION

Your qualifications and experience should include:

  • AssociatedegreeorParalegalCertificateor other relevant certificationrequiredwith a strong interest in intellectual property

  • Experience working in the Licensing or Intellectual Property field an asset

  • Organizationaland time management skills, including the ability to coordinate multiple complex, confidential files and to provide excellent service to internal and global clients

  • Ability to work easily with changing priorities,timelinesand processes, and to prioritize workload and problem solve

  • Extensive computer and database experience, andproficiencyin Microsoft Word and Excelrequired

  • High competency level for computer literacy and agility working with cloud-based software applications

The target annualized base salary range for this position is $65,000 to $75,000.In addition to the annual base salary, this role is eligible for an annual bonus. Theindividual will be paid hourly and eligible for overtime. This range does not include any other compensation components or other benefits that an individual may be eligible for. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
