Somali drivers often encounter challenges when working in regions with different transportation regulations, such as unfamiliar traffic laws, licensing requirements, and safety standards. Adapting to these changes can require additional training and close attention to local rules to ensure compliance. Many employers provide orientation or support to help drivers adjust, but being proactive in learning and asking questions can help Somali drivers integrate smoothly and avoid penalties. Building good communication with dispatchers and local authorities is also essential for success.
