The Opportunity
As a Solutions Specialist, you will be a dedicated resource for our customers to assist in building out custom reports using our Insights tool, powered by Thoughtspot, in their Canopy system. You will collaborate with clients and product specialists to get all the information necessary to build out a successful Insights report. You will also collaborate with our Product teams to provide feedback on how to make Canopy Insights even better.
This is a hybrid position in Draper, Utah (M, W, F in-office).
What You'll Do:
  • Partner with Canopy customers to design, build, and maintain custom reports
  • Communicate with customers to gather necessary information for Insights reporting and guide them on Insights functionality
  • Analyze data sets and provide recommendations for structuring reports and dashboards
  • Provide regular updates to customers on the status of their configuration.
  • Work closely with the Implementation and Customer Success teams to ensure successful delivery of configuration projects
  • Create and update documentation related to Insights
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Product, Implementation, Customer Success) to ensure high-quality solutions and advocate for feature enhancements
  • Stay updated with the latest Canopy product updates.
  • Develop rapport with customers to understand their business needs and provide guidance.
  • Ensure accuracy, quality, and timeliness in deliverables to customers.

The skills you'll need:
  • 1-3 years of experience in data analytics or reporting, BI tool configuration, or client facing implementation
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business needs into data requirements
  • Familiarity with SaaS platforms
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Understanding of workflow and work-in-progress (WIP) concepts.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
  • Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to tasks.
  • Project management. Organizational skills, creativity, curiosity, and a solution-oriented focus are a must.

Preferred Skills:
  • Familiarity with API configuration, payload formats and architecture
  • Experience with ThoughtSpot or other modern search-based BI platforms
  • Familiarity with SQL for querying or validating data
  • Exposure to accounting workflows or financial reporting use cases
