A solutions architect designs computer and information systems customized to a client's needs. As a solutions architect, you often work with universities, government institutions, and other business enterprises that require an expansive network of computers. Your responsibilities include improving existing system architecture, developing new networking solutions, and testing systems to detect potential issues. You work with developers, on staff IT specialists, and even the everyday users to understand the client’s needs.
