Job description

As Solution Sales Manager, you will play a key role in driving the continued growth of our organisation.

As Solution Sales Manager, you’ll be a driving force behind Costo’s growth in Germany. Your goal is clear: to help customers improve their intralogistics operations with solutions that make both commercial and technical sense.

You’ll develop lasting relationships with new and existing customers, uncover opportunities and turn them into successful projects. This goes beyond making the initial sale. You’ll take ownership of the customer relationship, from understanding the business case to shaping the right combination of systems, solutions and services.

Throughout the sales process, you’ll bring in colleagues from Engineering, Operations and other specialist teams at the right time. You’ll keep everyone aligned, spot potential challenges early and ensure they are addressed before they affect the project. The result is a solution Costo can deliver with confidence-and a customer relationship built to last.

You’re an experienced sales professional who combines commercial drive with a strong understanding of technical solutions. You ask the right questions, understand the customer’s business and know how to turn ambitious ideas into realistic opportunities.

  • A Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering or a comparable field.
  • At least ten years of experience in technical sales, ideally within logistics, engineering or industrial automation.
  • A strong track record in consultative selling, balancing the customer’s ambitions with what is technically and commercially achievable.
  • Experience in project management and complex sales processes involving multiple stakeholders.
  • The ability to think strategically while keeping sight of the practical steps needed to move an opportunity forward.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, from listening and influencing to building commitment and closing the deal.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, combined with a diplomatic and collaborative approach and the confidence to work effectively with people at every level of an organisation.
