About the role

Fluker Farms is hiring a Project Coordinator or Project Specialist to drive special projects within our Dry Products division. This role is for someone who enjoys solving messy problems, organizing moving parts, and turning data into clear decisions. You will work across teams to improve processes, tighten execution, and keep high-priority initiatives on track.

This is not a "sit in meetings and take notes" role. You will be expected to dig in, ask the right questions, build useful Excel tools, and follow through until the work is done.

  • Build andmaintainExcel-based trackers, reports, dashboards, and tools that help the Dry Products team run better
  • Analyze operational and business data toidentifyissues, trends, and practical solutions

  • Document processes, create SOPs, and help standardize how work gets done
  • Track action items and hold workstreams accountable to deadlines and expectations
  • Help troubleshoot system or data problems, then coordinate the fix with the right internal teams
  • Partner with stakeholders to define project scope, requirements, and measurable outcomes
  • Communicate project status clearly, including risks, roadblocks, and next steps

What we are looking for (must-haves)

  • Strong problem-solving ability with a history of fixing issues, not just reporting them
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including:
  • PivotTables andPivotCharts
  • Lookups (XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH or equivalent)
  • Conditional formatting, data validation, and error-checking
  • Logical formulas (IF, AND/OR),textand date functions
  • Building clean, reliable trackers and reports that other people can use
  • Comfort working with computer systems and business data (ERP, inventory systems, WMS, or similar)
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities without losing details or deadlines
  • Strong communicationskills, especially when coordinating between departments
  • High standardsfor accuracy, follow-through, and data integrity

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience in manufacturing, food/agriculture, consumer products, or distribution environments
  • Experience supporting operations, supply chain, inventory, production planning, or continuous improvement
  • Familiarity with basic project management tools and methods (Smartsheet, Teams, SharePoint, Monday, Asana, etc.)
  • Experience creating SOPs, training guides, and process documentation
  • Intermediate comfort with data cleanup and imports/exports (CSV files, system reports, basic data normalization)

What success looks like in this role

  • Projects move forward on time because you drive them, not because you "check in"
  • Excel tools and reporting become simpler, moreaccurate, and more useful for daily decisions
  • Problems getidentifiedearly, clarified quickly, and resolved with clear ownership
  • Teams trust your work because you are consistent, organized, and practical

Work style and expectations

  • Hands-on, high accountability, and detail-oriented
  • Comfortable working with shop floor reality and real operational constraints
  • Willing to learn how things have been done, then improve them the right way
  • Calm under pressure, steady follow-through, and not afraid to speak up when something is off
