Job description

The Company delivers roof trusses, floor trusses, EZWALL® Innovative Framing Solution™, and integrated structural solutions for residential, multifamily, commercial, and emerging construction markets throughout the Southeastern United States and the Caribbean. We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to support the operation, maintenance, and repair of manufacturing equipment, facility systems, and plant infrastructure. This hands-on role is responsible for troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring equipment operates safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining a strong commitment to safety, quality, and productivity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair issues related to HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems
  • Inspect facility, equipment, and appliances to ensure proper functionality
  • Perform routine maintenance and coordinate replacement of damaged or outdated equipment
  • Ensure electrical wiring meets safety and regulatory standards
  • Identify and coordinate with subcontractors for larger repair projects
  • Respond to on-call and emergency maintenance needs
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment
  • Support team operations and complete additional tasks as assigned

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of maintenance or related experience required
  • Strong working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 45 lbs
  • Must be able to bend, climb, crawl, and perform hands-on work
  • Comfortable working in various weather conditions

Schedule

  • Full-time, non-exempt position
  • Day shift, 5:30 AM - 3:30 PM
  • On-call availability required
