What It's Like to Work Here
At Hyland, we believe that great technology deserves an equally great story - and our Solution Marketing team is responsible for telling it. As Director, Solution Marketing, you'll lead industry-aligned marketing teams that bring Hyland's capabilities to life across healthcare, insurance, banking, higher education, and government. This is a role for a strategic, people-first leader who thrives at the intersection of market insight, compelling messaging, and cross-functional collaboration.
Your Role Responsibilities - Here's What You'll Do
  • Define and guide clear, differentiated messaging and positioning for Hyland's industry solutions in partnership with product management and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Lead go-to-market strategy, including segmentation, ideal customer profiles, and persona-based messaging across multiple industry verticals.
  • Translate Hyland's capabilities into industry-specific business value and outcomes that resonate with target buyers and decision-makers.
  • Partner with product, sales, demand generation, and customer success teams to drive pipeline growth and revenue outcomes.
  • Identify industry trends, customer needs, and competitive insights to continuously inform and sharpen strategy and positioning.
  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing team of solution marketers, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Role Essentials - What You'll Need to Bring
  • 10+ years of experience in B2B product or solution marketing, including direct team leadership.
  • Experience in industry marketing within one or more of Hyland's target industries (e.g., healthcare, financial services, higher education, or public sector).
  • Strong ability to translate product capabilities into clear, meaningful, and differentiated customer value.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a track record of delivering high-quality work under tight timelines.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively and drive alignment across a large, matrixed organization.
What We'd Like to See
  • MBA or other advanced degree.
  • Experience engaging with industry analysts and shaping market perception and positioning.
  • Background in content management, process automation, collaboration, or related enterprise software markets.
  • Demonstrated experience building, coaching, and scaling high-performing marketing teams.
  • Familiarity with modern marketing tools, technologies, and best practices.
