Job description

SAP HANA Basis

Position Description

Perform S/4 installation, upgrades, patches, applying support packages, system copies/refreshes and installation of add on software components.

Daily administration, monitoring, troubleshooting, and tuning of all SAP systems.

Working with Vendors/partners and tune S/4 systems for optimal Performance.

Working closely with other product teams to meet and maintain operational KPIs/SLAs.

Participate in multi landscape design solutions, architecture recommendations, and client strategies for continuous improvement.

Develop, implement, and execute SAP BASIS / HANA DB policies and procedures to ensure the integrity and availability of SAP systems in support of the SAP applications.

Provide Support and Guidance to the other Project and Development teams during the build, test and productive operation of project implementation.

Setup and Configuration of Solution Manager Dashboards in order to monitor and administer the SAP systems.

Provide Production Support on a periodic 24x7 support with on call responsibilities

Technical Skills Required

Hands on experience in installing and configuring S/4 Core, S/4 EWM, SAP Enterprise portals, SAP GRC, Solution Manager

Ability to create Transport Domain Controller and administer the Transport Management System

Experience in using Solution Manager ChaRM

Knowledge / experience with system monitoring using Solution Manager

Problem solving and debugging skills

Effective team player working with Onsite and Offshore teams

5+ years of experience with SAP Basis Administration

Minimum 2 full SAP life cycle SAP S/4 implementations experience

Extensive SAP upgrades/implementation experience both in SAP ABAP & JAVA stacks

Expertise in a broad range of SAP Products like S/4 HANA, BW, PI, Fiori, Ariba and latest products

Expertise in installation, upgrades and patching of SAP applications

Install and integration of 3rd party tools to S/4 systems is an added advantage.

Solman Integration, SLD/LMDB/Agent deployment/Managed system preparation.
