Roles and Responsibilities
  • Provide data technology leadership, oversight, and guidance to ensure the solution adheres to PSS Architecture Guiding Principles while maximizing reuse.
  • Perform buy‑vs‑build analysis with qualitative and quantitative assessment to recommend the best option.
  • Lead architecture design reviews, identify gaps, and recommend design changes.
  • Drive modernization opportunities for PBM data technologies within our complex technology landscape.
  • Develop reference data architectures, guardrails, and guidelines; coach engineering and product teams.
  • Lead proofs‑of‑concept and technology deep dives, especially leveraging AI to power business analytics.
  • Assist application development teams with technical roadblocks such as performance challenges.
Required Qualifications
  • Hands‑on experience developing data designs, including data models for complex transformation programs.
  • Rich experience building automated workflows for data profiling and anomaly detection.
  • Experience designing robust metadata tagging systems for retrieval‑augmented generation.
  • Experience with streaming platforms such as Apache Kafka.
  • 10+ years overall design/development experience; hands‑on work in Python or functional languages like Scala.
  • 5+ years hands‑on cloud platform experience with GCP, Azure, or AWS.
  • 2+ years hands‑on AI/ML (including GenAI) experience and process automation.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Health‑care industry domain knowledge.
  • Understanding of both SQL and NoSQL database technologies.
  • Experience creating data architecture to modernize legacy mainframe/mid‑range AS400 applications.
  • Master’s degree in computer science or related field.
Education
  • Bachelor’s in computer science, or related field (required).
  • Master’s in computer science, or related field (preferred).
Pay Range

Base range: USD144,200.00–USD288,400.00 per year. Actual salary will depend on experience, education, geography and other factors.
