is recruiting for a leading U.S. infrastructure technical advisory firm in the search for a
senior Design Lead / Design Manager
to support the growth of its transportation infrastructure advisory and project development activities nationwide.

This is a high-impact leadership role within a growing infrastructure
technical advisory platform focused on major highway P3 / DBFOM pursuits and complex transportation infrastructure projects.

The position is
based in Miami
and is intended for a hands- on infrastructure professional who can progressively become a key technical and
strategic extension of the firm’s leadership team in the U.S. market.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Lead and coordinate design development activities for major highway P3 / DBFOM projects across the United States
  • Lead the development and oversight of conceptual designs, technical solutions, and ATCs for major highway infrastructure pursuits
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams, external designers, SPVs, CJVs, and technical advisors
  • technical one‑on‑one meetings, consortium workshops, executive presentations, and coordination sessions with clients and major project stakeholders
  • Ensure alignment between design, construction, operations, commercial objectives, and RFP requirements
  • Support design optimization and Value Engineering initiatives to improve constructability, efficiency, and project value
  • Monitor the progression of design deliverables and technical submissions against project schedules and milestones
  • Identify technical risks and support mitigation strategies throughout proposal and development phases
  • Lead technical workshops, design coordination meetings, and stakeholder review sessions
  • Collaborate directly with clients, public agencies, and project stakeholders to support strategic project objectives
Profile:
  • 15+ years of experience in highway and transportation infrastructure projects
  • Experience with P3 / DBFOM project environments in the U.S. market
  • Strong background in bid and final design development, including leading and managing multidisciplinary technical teams
  • Experience participating in DOT pursuits, proposal development, and ATC processes
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and technical coordination capabilities
  • Entrepreneurial mindse t with the flexibility and energy required in a growing organization
  • Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced pursuit and project environments with evolving priorities and deadlines
  • Willingness and availability to travel regularly across the United States
  • Based in Miami or willing to relocate

Location: Miami, FL

The role is expected to be primarily based in Miami, with regular travel to project offices, consortium meetings, technical 1-1 meetings, D&C workshops, and infrastructure pursuits throughout the United States.
